What is the difference between short diploma courses and VTCT courses?

Short diploma courses are for therapists wanting to work mobile or on friends and family.  They are recognised within the UK and an insurable qualification with certain insurance companies.

VTCT courses are internationally recognised qualifications that involve multiple choice end tests and assessments but hold a higher recognised status and will enable you to work in a salon or spa.

How is the award achieved?

You will come to the academy to learn the practical part of pedicure and will be set an assignment on pedicure services to do at home. You will then return it to your tutor for marking and come back when you have done 3 client case studies on friends or family at home. You will return to the academy for a multiple choice test and to do a final assessment where you will show us the best pedicure you can do. You will be graded a pass, merit or distinction based on your competence.
